Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the ListEat services you use, to meet legal obligations, and to resolve disputes. While your account is active, we process and store the information described in this Policy and in the app. After you delete your account (see below), we remove or irreversibly mask personal identifiers tied to your profile (such as your email, name, and phone number), end your sessions, and mark your user-created content (for example shopping lists, recipes, and meal plans you owned) as deleted in our systems. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained where permitted by law. Certain records may be kept for statutory retention periods (for example tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention requirements). Accounts that remain inactive for an extended period may be deleted as described in our Terms of Use.
How to delete your account and personal data
Registered users can request deletion of their account and associated personal data directly in the product:
ListEat mobile app (Android / iOS): open the app, go to Settings, choose Delete account, and complete the confirmation step (you will be asked to confirm with the word shown on screen). This starts our account deletion process for your user profile and associated data handled in that flow.
ListEat on the web: sign in, open Settings → Delete account, and confirm as instructed (same confirmation pattern as the mobile apps).
Email: you may contact info@listeat.app for data-protection requests or if you need help with deletion. We will respond in line with applicable law.
Guest (unregistered) use of the app may not store a full profile; limiting data collected in guest mode is described in our Terms of Use. To clear local data on your device, you can remove the app or use your device settings as applicable.
